Cranberry Sauce

* 1 cup sugar ($1)
* 1 cup water ($0)
* 4 cups (1 12-oz package) fresh cranberries ($1.49-$2.49)
INSTRUCTIONS:
If your invited to a Thanksgiving Day dinner, and it happens to be a potluck/you accidentally volunteer to make something/you want to look like you made something without the effort. This works for all of the above!
1 Wash cranberries. In a saucepan bring to a boil water and sugar, stirring to dissolve sugar. Add cranberries, return to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer for 10 minutes or until cranberries burst.
2 Remove from heat. Cool completely at room temperature and then chill in refrigerator. Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools.
Yup it's that easy, maybe easier then buying a can of jelly cranberries, opening it up and placing it on a plate.
