Tofu stir-fry to win a veggie's heart
* firm tofu ($1)
* sesame oil ($2.75 – 12oz)
* olive oil or vegetable oil ($2.75 – 12oz)
* soy sauce (33.8oz Price $3.49)
* ginger (optional)
* garlic (optional)
* lemongrass (optional)
* red pepper flakes (optional)
* one cup of broccoli ( $.99-1.50 lbs)
* one cup of cauliflower ( $.99-1.50 lbs)
* 1/2 cup of carrots ($.59-.99 lbs)
* sesame oil ($2.75 – 12oz)
* olive oil or vegetable oil ($2.75 – 12oz)

* one cup of broccoli ( $.99-1.50 lbs)
* one cup of cauliflower ( $.99-1.50 lbs)
* 1/2 cup of carrots ($.59-.99 lbs)
INSTRUCTIONS:
start with the tofu
open and drain from the box
cube the tofu into like 1 inch squares
i usually lay down a paper towel on a plate and lay out the cubes to drain it more
heat a pan with sesame oil, but could use veggie oil or even olive oil
sesame oil tastes best
toss in the veggies
add soy sauce to taste
your choice of veggies
i used broccoli, squash, cauliflower and carrot
toss those with the dried tofu
add those spices

COSTS:
Most items on this recipe one should find most in their household, over all I usually spend around $5. Cheap, healthy and hearty- enough to turn any meat eater into a happy vegetarian.
