REVIEWS:
This place is great - roast pork, fancy pork (who knows?), roast chicken, tofu sandwiches, all for $2.50. At Eddy & Larkin.
The French rolls come toasted and help to melt down and absorb the sauce that gets layered on before the sliced meat. This is pilled up with shredded carrots and cilantro and slivers of jalapeno chili! MMMMM, good. I have never tried the beautiful, preserved specimens in the plastic cups . . .
The only down side is the 15 minute wait if you go between noon and 1:30, though you can spend your time eaves dropping on the lawyers and government types over here from City Hall.
Its an unbelievably tiny place, so be ready to sit on the sidewalk or trot down to the Asian Art Museum and sit outside.
That guava juice cost another buck . . .
