When living in San Francisco I used to get these crazy Boba drinks in the Sunset district, now that I live in New York I need to filter the good Bobas with the bad.
Boba is made of cooked tapiocas balls, when mixed with black tea, milk and sugar it’s a nice soothing treat on a hot day. Most go for $2.75 but if you’re a fancy pants some can range up to $4-$5, ie Lg Mango with black tea.

I recently found a super cute place on Bayard st, with cute logo and cute girls working the counter. UiUi Bubble Tea is actually good; they only offer drinks so it might be a good place after a meal. Besides the Bubble/Boba teas they have slushies and plain flavored teas.
