I love this place. I have to admit. No frill, no fancy decorations, no annoying customers (but lotta hot ladies dropping in), just cool mellow vibe. When I visit they are playing Simpsons marathon on their TV. Oh, how can I not mention about the juicy Pork Chop Bánh mì and Paté Bánh mì? Those are some of the best I have had!
I LOVE their Classic Vietnamese Sandwich with tasty strong warm Paté, Vietnamese Ham, Roasted Ground pork, Pickled Carrots, big cucumber, loads of cilantro and mayo on a toasted baguette. The portion is not as big as what you will get in Chinatown but the quality for sure exceeds those in C-Town.

The Pork Chop Bánh mì is my personal favorite, great juicy fatty meat texture, perfect marinated flava, best crunchy bread, fresh ingredients make it such a awesome experience you shouldn’t missed. Invite your beloved lady (at the shop), take it to go, and have a romantic brown-bagged (u know wat I mean) lunch at the lawn at Tompkins Square Park, that’s the life.
For veggies, there’s a Portobello Mushroom sandwich ($4.50) with pickled carrots, cucumber, cilantro and mayo on a toasted baguette, what else can you ask for?
