The oldest bialy bakery in the United States, for over 65 years this mom and pop have been in business. I had bialys many times but most seem very dry and not so flavorful, Kossar’s Bialys however is perfect. Kossar’s bialys are all full and round like the woman where meant to be. In the center is toped with onions, most I’ve seen in NYC usually have an indentation in the center. Once you take a bite you’ll notice that it is very fluffy, light and moist, taste is slightly salty almost like the sea.
The bialy would be perfect with some sharp cheddar, eggs and a drizzle of olive oil on a Sunday afternoon with a side of voluptuous woman next to you in bed.
