A $5 burger served the way you want it is hard to come by, especially served with $5 tap beer. When I stepped into Royale I thought I would get a meager burger with imitational cheese, but to my pleasant surprise hamburgers at Royale is fit for royalty. My medium rare burger with Swiss cheese, came out perfectly with the works, my first bite was a burst of sirloin steak and butter. The juices were flowing but the buns kept their shape and texture, never soggy. The fries we ordered separately, $3 for a skimpy basket of shoestring fries, same goes for the onion rings.
The best feature about the Royale is the patio at the back, it’s huge with heating lamps and plenty of space to sit and smoke.
