I hate, hate the word Fro-Yo, otherwise know for frozen yogurt, it maybe hip with the younger generation but I hate the word. It’s has no meaning no flavor and every time I here /read about “Fro-Yo” it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Which is unfortunate because I actually love all the new frozen yogurt shops popping up in town, form Pink Berry, Red Mango to Beard Papa’s version \eks\. It’s especially wonderful for those on a diet or even on a tight budget – I mean have you seen the sticker price for a cone of ice cream these days, you’re lucky if you can get a licking for $5.
So I did a little taste tasting and a price check on our favorite frozen yogurt establishments, with the days warming up and the rescission on the rise, a little budget control on the non-essential is an essential. The highly regarded, highly detected-out Pink Berry comes last on our list of desirable frozen yogurt, for $5 a cup of yogurt with a handful of raspberries doesn’t cut it for us no matter how luxurious my ass feels on a Philippe Starck chair. As for their arch nemesis Red Mango, a regular is $2.95 plus a dollar per topping just as modern and trendy with a smaller price tag, not bad. But our favorite find was \eks\ they offer cones for $2.50 the portion seems smaller only because it’s on a cone but I really didn’t notice at all, possibly I think pound per pound the cone is the best way to go.
Taste wise I think they are all winners; all have the very natural sour yet milky taste with a nice icy finish at the end. I tried the coconut at \eks\ but didn’t like the flavors opposing with each other, I always found the green tea and plain taste great.

As for the Fro-Yo, how about Gurt-For-Yo, hmm might need some work.
