If you’re a fan of bright red lights, tight corners, and busy hands then Milon is the place for you. It’s true their food is cheapass we ordered an assorted appetizer for $2.95 that is ridiculously cheap, you get one samosa, two piaza, two banana pakora and one papadum. YES all for $2.95 and that just for starters, but before you have a chance to sit they bring a plate of papadum while you glance over the menu, on the house.
Our entrees were a spicy lamb vindaloo $6.95 and shrimp Bombay $7.95 with side of rice and nann. As I have mentioned earlier the food is very cheapass friendly and the food is very, how should I say, um Western friendly. The shrimp Bombay was on the watery side and one must ask for the vindaloo to be spicy, however the food overall is good.
While enjoying our redlight district ambiance, do look out for the busy hands that might creep up on your shoulders, the wait staff tend to be overly friendly with numerous hugs and overly attentive filling of the glass of water. With that said Milon is a great place to celebrate a birthday they turn on more disco lights and even louder music. Give them a hug they might even sing for you.
