A little wing actions during the Oscars is a “good thing” as Martha Stewart likes to say, watching all the little, itty, bitty starlets in their tiny, little dresses as I drool is definitely a great thing. Like the SuperBlow Oscars can’t go without some junk food and a bit of smack talking, so I did a little research and found some great wings around the Financial District named Atomic Wings.

The wings come in diverse degrees of hotness, starting at mild, medium, hot “for the sane” and “for the insane” abusive, nuclear, and suicidal and for those who are not fans of the Buffalo wings they also have honey mustard, barbeque and jerk bbq. Since I wanted my fellow wing eaters and myself to view the tube in peace we went somewhat conservative and ordered 10 bbq and 10 abusive ($14.49). The bbq was great a bit sweet, tangy and smoky while the abusive didn’t blow the roof off, it was unquestionably hot hot hot like the red carpet.

All order comes with side of carrots, celery, and blue cheese dressing.
