REVIEWS:
There is nothing better on a cold winter day to warm you up with a bowl of ramen. Rai Rai Ken is a tiny little place (14 stools) that serves up some authentic Japanese ramen with quite an authentic decor. You really feel like walking into a Tokyo ramen joint.
Four broths to choose from- Shoyu (soy sauce), Shio (seafood), Miso ($7.40) and their house special curry based ramen ($7.50).
We got the Shoyu Ramen ($6.95) and Shio Ramen ($6.95), both have the following toppings- bamboo shoot, boiled egg, roast pork, spinach, fish cake, dry seaweed and scallion. The ramen texture is very good, silky, soft yet chewy at the end. The broth on the other hand is on the lighter side, be sure to put some of those spicy powder to enhance the flavor.
