Alright, so I know pizza is a really obvious choice for a cheap ass eat. And maybe everyone in the world already knows about this place. However, it's still my favorite pizza place in all of New York (there, I said it), and perhaps just for the sake of covering the basics, I'm putting it on here.
I like this place because the ingredients are really fresh and because there is so much variety. I think my favorite is this garlic pesto type. All the pies are loaded with tons of fresh goodies. They even use different sauces depending on the pie.
Prices vary. I think for a plain cheese, it's $2, whereas for something more gourmet like a sausage/pepper slice, it can run up to $3.75. But seriously - that sausage pepper slice was enough to feed me and my friend.
The guys who work behind the counter are amusing. I think they need to find some way to amuse themselves when all the drunk hipsters come stumbling in and ask for cups of tap water along with their slices.

Rants: this place gets pretty crowded.
Rave: fresh, good quality stuff. Prices are pretty reasonable compared to other NY pizza places.
