Everytime I travel I always ask locals where to find good local food, you know, gotta enjoy the local flava and stay away from tourist traps man! My Delhi friends Vikram and Needi (btw LOVE your careless whisper ringtone) recommend this place to me! Dhanyavaad! Shukriyaa!
Nizam’s serves North Indian cuisine which is significantly different than the South Indian cuisine. North Indian cuisine tends to use more dairy products- milk, paneer, ghee (clarified butter), and yogurt; uses "tawa" (griddle) for baking flat breads like roti, paratha and naan (from tandoori oven). South Indian has greater emphasis on rice as the staple grain and the liberal use of coconut and particularly coconut oil and curry leaves.
Nizam’s specialty is Kathi Kababs and Roasted Kababs. Kathi Kabab is originated from the North Eastern province of India. According to Nizam’s website, “It started as a cuisine of the princely states of the province and found it's way to the common man's stomach as a quick wholesome bite.”

I went with my Taxi-Driver turned Great Friend Teja, we are here for the muttons, so we ordered the Mutton Seekh Kabab Egg Roll (USD $1.97), Double Mutton Double Egg Roll (USD $2.10) and just for fun the Super Duper Roll (USD $1.73). Right after I ordered, Teja looked at me like I all of a sudden have eight heads and three eyes. I asked him why, and he said: “Are you really hungry?”
So the rolls came and its fu*king giganormours!!! Holy Moley! It’s the size of a horse’s reproductive organ! So I chow down the Indian Burrito and OMG! D.E.L.I.S.H.!!! The taste is so rich and tasty. I actually finish two out of three rolls. I am not that impressed by the Super Duper roll because its vegetarian with some paneer in it. But the Mutton, WOW, can’t describe it, soft and juicy. I am very sure I gain 5 pounds just by eating that.
Later on we cruise around with our 9 months pregnant stomach and Teja took me to a local liquor shop, get 4 very tasty Kingfishers Premium Tall boy and a bottle of Indian Whiskey (total $5.50 USD can you believe it?), drove to some side street and got totally wasted.
