Cozy Corner BBQ is another super duper awesome great BBQ place you have to visit in Memphis or otherwise you will regret it so much you want to BBQ your own ribcage (the other one is Payne's link: http://cheapassfood.com/eats/show/4). Don’t let the unassuming location fools you, Cozy Corner has the best BBQ in the region and is easily a Memphis institution. When you order from the funky 70’s wood panel you can actually watch the slabs of ribs smoke in the pit oven, that’s supafly SMOKELICIOUS!
We had 6 bones ribs + coleslaw + sliced pork sandwich +bbq beans, all together for $20. Hey, forget about the plastic utensils and paper plate, use your fingerlicious skills, lotta napkins’ provided.

Their ribs are different from Payne’s, with stronger smoke flavour and leaner meat texture are much more crunchy. The BBQ sauce is less sweet and tangy, more on the spicy side. The pulled pork sandwich contains some burnt ends which gives the sandwich a more charred flavor, hmmm, just melt in your mouth. You can tell by the ladies in the pics above right?
We didn’t have the chance to try the house specialty- the barbecued Cornish hen and the barbecued boloney. Has anybody try it? Please let us know. The owner Desiree is sooooooo nice, we end up also huggin' each other and have a United Nation style handshake.
