REVIEWS:
On cold rainy days like this Hot Pot is the way to go, with simmering chili drenched broth to sooth the winter aches accompanied by good friends, Grand Sichuan will definitely lift your spirit if you got that old man winter blues.
The hot “pot” itself is usually ceramic or metal containing soup stock prepared with boiling beef, pork, or chicken bones, traditionally the pots heated in charcoal but more frequently gas is used for portability. While the stock is prepared beforehand items to dunk into your hot pot come neatly cut and primped, which makes the cooking time all that faster.
Once our moveable gas stove arrived my mouth was drooling already, ordered thinly sliced lamb, thinly sliced beef, abalone mushrooms, baby bamboo shoots, shrimp, and vermicelli noodles. Each plate ranged from $3.00-$7.00, the soup (option spicy, mild, or both) is free but they have a $20 minimum so go with couple of good friends grab some beers, you’ll need it to wash down the spicy chili.

The sauces are also pre-prepared and very consist of soy sauce, vinegar, hot pepper, too fresh raw egg, but the sauces are about $1.25-$2 each so we went with out and ordered more MEAT instead.
